In 1996 a friend bought an existing Children's party Venue and asked if I would come & entertain at Parties. As soon as I put on my first pair of wings I never looked back! I became Fairy Raine and to this day have not tired of entertaining children & adults alike. Face Painting has become my first love now. In 2008 I went to my first bodypainting expo and have finally met other like minded people and now there is no stopping me! Recently my interest in face and body painting has developed beyond my wildest dreams! There are many forms of art but there is nothing I am more passionate about than face and body painting. I love bringing to life a walking, living canvas of vibrant colours and dazzling designs. I have been trained by some of the world’s best face and body painters: • Jinny Make up artiste (Canada - Head Make Up artiste Cirque Du Soliel) • Brian and Nick Wolfe (USA - 2009 World Body Painting Champions). This year I entered my 1st competition at the Australian Body Art Carnivale held in Eumundi and won the 'People's Choice awards' in the Brush & Sponge category. I look forward to my next competition but nothing thrills me more than the smile on a child’s face when they look in the mirror and view their transformation from child to cat or tiger or butterfly.
