After completing a national certificate in Beauty Technology and national diploma in Performing Arts Theatre crafts, in 1991 I started working as a professional make up artist in the film industry.

After a holiday in Zanzibar (where I had a traditional temporary tattoo done), I was inspired to do this (and millions of other designs over the holidays) in places like Sun City. My greatest inspiration was the World Body Painting Festival last year in Seeboden Austria. I was lucky enough to attend some workshops prior to festival as well as watch the worlds best at work.
